The story of this foundation begins with my Beloved Son Marques who passed away from lymphoma cancer in 2010. His life and legacy inspired me to take action in 2018 by organizing my first community walk to honor parents who lost a loved one to cancer ,it became my symbol of hope unity in remembrance that fueled me in helping others. .
Today the Marques Whitley Foundation is a Beacon of hope for those in need. We provide shelter and the necessary resources for battered women and their children also offering housing solutions for homeless individuals , we work tirelessly to support low income families . In addition to these efforts i dedicate time to researching cancer and exploring natural healing methods . This research is a personal mission to better understand the disease that took my son's life and support others in their journey towards recovery and wellness . through this foundation i aim to honor my sons memory and legacy by turning pain into purpose ,together we can create a future where no one has to face their struggle alone .
